Outdoor gear consignment

Old favorites.
New adventures.

Give quality outdoor equipment another adventure and turn unused gear into cash. We accept used and new outdoor hardgoods at the shop’s discretion.

Bring in clean gear in good condition. We’ll inspect it, agree on a starting price, and complete the consignment terms with you at intake.

What we consign

  • Whitewater and recreational kayaks
  • Canoes, paddleboards, paddles, and oars
  • Camping equipment, packs, and bags
  • Bicycles
  • Snow and winter sports equipment
  • Climbing and bouldering equipment
  • Helmets, PFDs, and other outdoor hardgoods when approved by the shop

Acceptance is subject to inspection. Unsafe, recalled, counterfeit, stolen, significantly damaged, poorly maintained, or otherwise unsuitable items may be refused or removed.

How it works

  1. Bring in clean gear in good condition.
  2. We inspect it and agree on the starting price.
  3. We assign an item ID, tag it, and display it.
  4. We handle the customer transaction and applicable sales tax.
  5. When it sells, you receive your agreed share of the actual selling price.

Commission, discount authority, consignment period, payout method and schedule, and pickup period are agreed with you and recorded at intake.

A note on safety gear

Disclose known defects, repairs, modifications, recalls, and any impact, fall, immersion, chemical exposure, or other event that could affect an item’s integrity. You must own the gear or have authority to sell it. We may decline used ropes, harnesses, carabiners, slings, webbing, prusik cords, helmets, PFDs, inflatable safety equipment, or other gear when age, history, or condition cannot be reliably verified. Acceptance does not guarantee that an item is defect-free or safe for a particular use.
